Emmy Awards 2018: Il Trono di Spade domina le nomination

Come ogni anno che si rispetti, nelle scorse ore sono state svelate tutte le nomination per quanto riguarda gli Emmy Awards 2018, giunti quest’anno alla loro settantesima edizione.

A dominare le categorie ci pensa Il Trono di Spade insieme a Westworld, che insieme hanno portato a casa più di venti nomine ciascuno, e a dargli man forte ci ha pensato anche The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu). Con 18 nomination troviamo invece la serie targata FX The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story e – se bene con qualche numero in meno – anche Stranger Things. Quest’anno a trionfare delle nomination è Netflix: la piattaforma è riuscita a scalzare la HBO portandosi a casa 112 nomine contro le 108 dell’emittente televisiva.

La cerimonia di premiazione avrà luogo il prossimo 17 settembre nella cornice del Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles e sarà trasmessa dalla NBC. A fare gli onori di casa di questa settantesima edizione saranno i due volti del Saturday Night Live americano Colin Jost e Michael Che.
